Grand Plaza Hotel

Grand Plaza Hotel places you in one of southern Thailand's liveliest shopping and food districts. Colorful street markets, local vendors, shopping centers and traditional Thai eateries fill the streets around the hotel from morning until late at night, so most of what you came to Hat Yai for is a short walk from the lobby.

Open since 1984 and renovated in 2014, the hotel has 215 rooms across 9 floors. It is a straightforward, good value base for couples, families, groups of friends and solo travelers who plan to spend their days out exploring the city.

Lee Garden Night Market sits right beside the property, and Kim Yong Market is around five minutes away on foot. Central Hatyai is 40 m from the entrance, Odean Shopping Mall 110 m and Santisuk Market 160 m. Thai street food, halal restaurants, Malaysian inspired dishes, cafés, Thai massage and spas are all close by, along with convenience stores, pharmacies and ATMs.

Hat Yai Railway Station is about 470 m away and Hat Yai Bus Station about 1.8 km. Hat Yai International Airport (HDY) is 11.5 km from the hotel, roughly a 20 minute drive, and the hotel can arrange an airport transfer. Tuk-tuks wait outside and Grab is easy to book, while guests arriving by car enjoy free on-site parking.

Check-in is from 14:00 and check-out is until 12:00, with a 24-hour front desk and 24-hour security. Children aged 2 to 6 stay free, the team speaks English, Thai, Malay and Mandarin, and free Wi-Fi is available in every room and public area. The city center is about 1 km away. Pets are not allowed.
